What I Love About Apple (Store)

Published by Cory on Saturday, September 05, 2009

AppleAs a recent Apple convert, I continue to be amazed. I've had my current iPhone 3G since February of this year and recently had a couple issues (not with the phone itself).

The first dealt with the USB cable that allowed me to charge my phone and sync it with iTunes. The wiring sleeve had started to separate from the USB end of the cable ever so slightly. It still worked just fine, but I didn't want to wait until it was too late and it started affecting connectivity.

During a lunch break I headed on over to an Apple store, where I was greeted by a gentlemen as I walked in, asking how he could help me out. I briefly gave him a synopsis of my issue and showed him the cable. Since he seemed so helpful I proceeded to tell him about another issue dealing with my iPhone earbuds. The left one would pop at high volumes as it had been blown.

iPhone 3G Cracked - hardware not software

It was bound to happen. Simply a matter of time. I should've seen it coming. This describes just a few of the thoughts that raced through my head as I watched my iPhone plummet onto the pavement. That and the yelling out of "Oh my Gosh! You have got to be #@%* kidding me!"

I've read this on a few different sites but have also been told by a friend of a friend, who is currently an intern at Apple. While I'm not sure I am totally sold on the validity of this information, it does make sense. The MacBook and MacBook Pro are overdue for update.

Well, the Apple Let's Rock event has come and gone. The highlights were basically on the iPod and iTunes but an announcement was made about a new iPhone update as well.

The iPod Nano is now slimmer and offers "Genius" functionality that allows you to create a playlist on the fly, based upon the current song you are listening to. Want to

From a Mac to a PC, Mojave convinced Jerry Seinfeld

Published by Cory on Tuesday, August 26, 2008

It appears the first documented case of someone actually switching from a Mac to a PC is none other than Jerry Seinfeld. If you watched Seinfeld at all, you know that Jerry was an avid Mac fanboi and Apple products were never far from his side. This switch-a-roo kills the thought of "once you Mac you never back". Funny thing is, Jerry Seinfeld apparently had the change of heart after participating in Microsoft's Mojave Experiment. The fact he was paid $10 million had absolutely nothing to with it.
