NYTimes '1-Click' search feature

Published by Cory on Tuesday, September 16, 2008

1-ClickA fellow co-worker (Dusty Segretto) just pointed something out to me that I thought was an intriguing idea. I've never seen this implemented and it definitely took me by surprise.

If you visit the NY Times website and click-thru to one of their articles, a "hidden" search is available for any term on that page. I refer to it as a hidden search because it isn't blatantly obvious that this functionality exists.

Im-mobileMe, an Apple disaster

Published by Cory on Friday, July 25, 2008

Well, well, well...it turns out that Steve Jobs and his preachings about Apple being "above" their competitors, really is true. Ping.fm beta code - I finally got in!

Published by Cory on Wednesday, July 23, 2008

Well folks, I finally got in! Ping.fm put up some fight but in the end I am the victor. Their clever and charming beta codes just kept sneaking by me. That is, until about 5 minutes ago. I am now a Ping.fm member and get to test out the ping.fm Drupal module.

Ping.fm is a one stop shop to post to all of your social networking sites. From twitter, to facebook and myspace, it pretty much does it all. Let's just hope the ping.fm Drupal module doesn't fail me and I can not only manage my socnet's from ping.fm, but also corydorning.net!
